Simply tighten them up or have the dealer do it. It's very easy to do.
Can it be done without lifting front end of the ground? What specs should upper and lower be torqued too? Thanks

If I remember right I did do it with the front end off the ground because I didn't want any weight on them. The spec is 33ft/lb but I can tell you that ain't anywhere near what it needs to be. I literally tightened mine until the clicking stopped. As I tightened it the ball joint made that clicking sound which is how I knew this was the problem that was causing the clicking.
If you don't have a floor jack to get the whole front end up you can use the scissors jack that came with the Jeep. Just put it under the axle where the spring is and do one side at a time. If you are going to be wrenching on your Jeep I highly recommend you get yourself a 3 ton floor jack. You can get one at Wally World or Harbor Freight for under $100 bucks. Get a set of jack stands too so you don't crush yourself and die when the Jeep slips off the jack or the jack gives way :)

Tightened mine yesterday. Bottoms were being held on by the cotter pin. No more clicking... not sure how this is not a TSB at this point. @JeepCares

I've noticed that my JL is making some cracking sound every time I turn the steering wheel. This is something the dealer can take care of right? This is already the 3rd issue I'm having with this car, and the dealership playing dumb previously doesn't help with the frustration.

Read up the thread and there is another thread I started somewhere regarding the clicking noise. 99% of the time it's the ball joint nuts have not been tightened enough. Personally I would fix it myself if you are mechanically inclined. The less it needs to be in a dealership garage the better IMO. If you can't do it then you need to go to the dealer and TELL them what you want done. TELL them to check the ball joint nuts... that you know others who have had this problem and that's what they did. FCA clearly doesn't give a rip about this problem since this has been around since the first Jeeps came off the line. Ours had it and it was built in 11/17.
Contact @JeepCares and they will hook you up with a rep. You need to go into the dealer educated be be polite but stand up for yourself. I got lucky with my dealership and they listened to me and genuinely tried and succeeded at resolving my suspension issues. Good luck.

EDIT: LOL... this is my thread. read back through it to understand what's going on.

I know this is an older thread but I have some clicking noise coming from the front of the Jeep when I drive on a grovel road or any road with an imperfection. I don’t hear the noise on a blacktop road that’s smooth but it is very loud when turning onto a road with a dip in it. Here’s a video. Any thoughts on what it would be?

Can't hear jack squat but the first thing I would do i pull the cotter pins and check all four ball joint nuts. I can almost guarantee you they are loose.

Do y ou find it makes a noise when you are going slowly over a small lip like into your garage or out of your driveway. Assuming you have a small lip or bump there.

Here’s a better video. It happens when I turn the wheel to turn into an uneven road.

Yes it happens sometimes but it seems to do it when turning out of the driveway where the Jeep has to articulate a little.

OK, here's a tip... if you are trying to capture a clicking sound in a video when you turn DON'T have the turn signal on (it too clicks) :)
