Stuck in BX status?

Hey everyone wanted to see if others have been stuck in BX status. Placed my order on 11/19, only options are hydro blue, trailer tow, and off road camera. Asked the Jeep chat and only thing they said was no VIN yet and hasn’t been scheduled. Are the majority of us still in BX status?

I was in "BA" until a couple days ago. I'm in "BG" now. Ordered a Granite Crystal Metallic on 12/7 with the Tow package as the only option.

Ordered on 11/30/2020 and got my VON before leaving the dealer. Status was BA. I went in on 12/14/2020 to switch colors (snazzberry to white) and when he printed out the new order sheet, my status showed BX-good order available for scheduling. Been there ever since. I ordered the white with Leather Trimmed Bucket Seats, Off-Road Camera, Hinge-Gate Reinforcement, all weather floor mats and Tow package. I texted the dealer Thursday and they had one order that got a VIN and were expecting more VINs shortly.

We're all keeping our ears and eyes open for Jeep to spill the beans on the 392 this coming week. Starting in January or Delayed. Drum roll please...

I'm just curious, have you had any updates yet?

I know you posted this last week, but I just noticed that you mentioned you went with hydro blue, and I'm wondering if that might be an issue.

I know for GM's launch of the new Corvette C8 last year, that they staggered the release of the different colors, and all of the "new" colors came last, (rapid blue, accelerate yellow, and Zeus bronze). But I don't know if Jeep does the same with new models or not. And I admittedly don't even know for sure if hydro blue is new color or not, since I haven't looked at JL's since about 2018, but I don't recall seeing it as an option on the regular Rubicon's build & price site the last time I was there.

Along those lines, I do believe that I also saw in another 392 thread somewhere, (in a picture that referenced the availability of half-doors), that Hydro Blue was one of the colors that was listed as late availability.

Either way, I'm just bored & reading through the 392 threads to kill some time, and I noticed that so I thought I'd mention it. Hope you get some positive news soon, if you haven't already!

I’m still stuck in BX status which really sucks especially with seeing a lot of people getting their VIN/D status on here and couple Facebook groups. I’ve been checking with my dealer every week and none of their allocations have moved passed BX status. Not sure if that’s normal, but hoping for some progress by the end of February...

Last I checked we’re in D status (1/29). I haven’t bothered to check since then. Our dealer checks a couple of times a week for us and I see no need to bother him.
I would assume at this point it’s March or early April delivery and I’m fine with that.

Got some bad news today. I checked in with Jeep Chat just to see if there was any new info and was told there is an issue with my order and to contact my dealer. It turns out the manager had to cancel and re-order all of their 392s. The dealers exact words were "the first order was cancelled due to allocation". Not sure what that means. My first order was on 12/7, now I have a 2/1 order date. It's currently in BX status. Not sure how far down the road that's going to push things...

There is a global semi conductor shortage that has several manufacturers idling plants. This includes FCA.
