Yesterday i noticed when switching from performance mode to off, the sound did not quiet down. I tried several times and ran several tests, and had others come by to check to see if i'm going crazy. Everyone confirmed the sound is not changing. I bought it to my local dealer to check for error codes, nothing, and then the technician did a quick 5 min check in the engine, exhaust area, and under the hood but didn't have enough time to check. Most likely i will schedule service on this, but wanted to check here to see if anyone knew of this same issue? i saw the issue only on one other forum, and one person's issue was the vacuum supply line was disconnected from the intake manifold.

I also checked the fuse and it is looking good.

Anyone else have this issue? or can tell me how to trace where the vacuum canister, supply line is that goes into the manifold? thanks!

Yea didn’t help me. Already been there
so you see a thread with the same issue (exhaust mode not changing) and you create a new thread?

did you read the thread? the OP goes through a whole vacuum test that can be done to check cause.

So your rig just wants to be high performance all the time! Nothing wrong with that. The majority of 392 owners (that I have met and seen.....and heard) never turn it off.

How does one get this so called high performance mode on the 2.0? It sounds like a lot of fun. Lol

That’s a great ā€œproblemā€ to have, this way you don’t have to worry about it accidentally going into soy mode.
