XR is a popular option (not just on the 392), I believe itās a parts availability issue currently, hopefully the option comes back soon. Stock 392 is 3.73 gears on 33ā tires, XR is 4.56 on 35ā tires, I believe there is also an extra inch of lift, has the reinforced tailgate for the spare...
I have a Gladiator with the 3.6 non etorque on 37s with 4.88 gears, I was satisfied with it until I got my 392. If you have the money for it, get the 392. Iām getting 13.3/4 MPG on my 392XR. I donāt drive it like an ape, but there are moments my right foot gets into it. Having the power on...
I am listing A 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland, 37,556 miles. Over $26,000 in upgrades that I will list below. The highlights include ultimate Dana 44 front axle, rubicon crate rear axle, 4.88 gears, metal cloak 3.5 game changer lift, road armor fenders/liners along with front and rear bumper...
MY 392XR came with the new style, not sure what the problem is. Itās actually a little easier to clean, but other than that I could care less. Threads like this really amuse me.
Somewhere between 1,400-1,500 miles on my 392 XR stock, SOT (mostly open). Iām getting 12.8-13 MPG. My 3.6 gladiator gets 14 MPG. Iām actually impressed with the gas mileage the 392 XR gets, I donāt drive like a grandmother either. If I drive like a Neanderthal Iām sure Iād get less, but...
If someone at Stellantis believes they can charge 85k for the hurricane 3.0 turbo, they must be high. If it were simply another option along with 2.0 & 3.6 with minimal price difference, that would probably make a few people happy. Hemi V8 simply hits different, so much drama with that engine...
I installed the diabolical slipstream on my 392 with SOT today, so I can confirm it is compatible. It wasnāt the easiest install for me, but if I can do it I think just about anyone can do it. The owner of Diabolical Slipstream was unbelievably helpful. You do need to loosen the top (via 5...
My 392 XR steering is super solid, virtually the opposite of what you are describing. Drives straight as could be, not loose at all. Iām not sure if the fact it is a 392 matters, but it is shockingly good.
i disagree, but if the OP slapped on a 392/Mojave hood and 392 decals on the side of the hood scoop, then that would be lame. I think the OP should paint the tow hooks gold and make it uniquely theirs.
I was fully planning on December or January. Perhaps it was how i specād mine, not sure. I loaded mine up, sky one touch top included. The only options I didnāt check off was the satin grille and front facing camera (i actually intended on checking this box, but not too worried mine lacks...
I ordered a ā23 392 XR on 8/24, built on 10/29, delivered to dealer on 11/11, I took delivery on 11/12. Jeep tracker showed delivery TBD even after I had took delivery, although there was one day it shows estimated delivery date of 11/13 but quickly went back to TBD.
Does anyone have a soft top (either OEM or best top trek top ultra) and also have a tuffy security deck? If so, are you able to open the soft top all the way and have it (click) lock into place?
So if you have it in e-save āchargeā, will the engine shut off at all? In the video the engine was running from the beginning, but does it run full time with the electric power only kicking in when needed for the extra power?
Keep the deep ocean blue V6, I agree with you on engine and color choice. The pentastars have a damn good track record of longevity anyway. Deep ocean blue and mojito should have never been discontinued. Mopar should have never discontinued sublime green and plum crazy in the Challengers...
