Trying to decide on a rear enclosure for my 2024 2 door rubi without the rear seat. Looking at either the tuffy 345-01 rear enclosure or the diabolical inc slipstream big price difference, but that would not sway me or are there any others out there, thanks

I have the EZ-Trunk enclosure. Downside is it only covers half the area. The upside is it easily folds down and out of the way with one movement of the arm. It's also done it's job once already for me: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/soft-top-cut-open.101739/

It's very strong when folded down. I've transported a few 30 gallon stone planters on top of it, its just scratched up to hell but no bending at all.

I have the Tuffy one. I've been using them for all my Jeeps for awhile now. I've heard the Diabolical is hard to assemble but I've never done one myself. The Tuffy is only held in with a couple of bolts which is good to install and remove but in a flop situation I think it would just break loose.

I added 4 more brackets for a total of 6. I used heavy duty Simpson Strong-Tie brackets from Home Depot. The mounting points are already there.

Nice! That's a great idea. It is getting installed this week at a shop. I bought it there and they are doing the install for free. I asked them to add some more brackets so we'll see what I get. If I feel it's inadequate I'll do what you suggested.

I have a Diabolical and love it. A bit pricey but worth it the first time you're topless. It was about an hour & a half to install. The front panel takes 5 minutes to remove if you need more room and the cover slides off in seconds.
The tie down points are nice for additional carrying capacity or accessories.

I've had both the Tuffy and now the Diabolical for a 4-door. Don't know how similar they are to the 2-door products.

Tuffy: easy install and solid build and easy to uninstall when needed. I did also add extra mounting points to the cargo area to make it more secure, the top is heavy to lift (but most everything accessible from the back without lifting the top), and not as much room as the Diaboloical.

Diabolical: Lots more room because it keeps areas around tire wells open, and the top makes access from top or loading taller items easier if needed. The install took 3-4 hours I believe and was one of the most frustrating of all mods on the jeep for me (could just be me...) - the general install wasn't too bad, but then fine tuning everything was ridiculous challenging to allow the rear seats to fully lock back upright against the front of the diabolical and while also allowing the tailgate window to close completely without added pressure from being crimped between the diabolical cover and the tailgate door. To make those slight adjustments requires some awkward dexterity skills and a lot of patience.

Trying to decide on a rear enclosure for my 2024 2 door rubi without the rear seat. Looking at either the tuffy 345-01 rear enclosure or the diabolical inc slipstream big price difference, but that would not sway me or are there any others out there, thanks
