That's fair, unloading the boxes just drove me nuts.Yeah...all I read was "caught a lot of fish."
Kidding of course, especially since I almost took 2 jugs last time.Because it's the size of this thing? I used to carry a 5 gal jug (like Primo) with a hand pump on the top, but they tip too easily. This is stable and effectively takes up less space than a 5 gal water jug.
Oh yeah, I got that. 7 gal is an odd number to carry though if you're not familiar with those cubes.Kidding of course, especially since I almost took 2 jugs last time.
Isn't that where everyone starts a fishing trip? That and "LIQUOR STORE".
Only the good trips.Isn't that where everyone starts a fishing trip?
Those are pretty interesting. My only issue against those are they block some of the view out the rear window although the reviews seem to say that it doesn't.I know you were asking about storage boxes to put on the floor of your Jeep. But have you considered storage containers that will keep some of your camping gear off of the floor?
I installed these Magellan storage bags in my 392 before doing the Rubicon Trail two weeks ago, and I thought they worked great for overnight camping. I kept all of our food, pots and pans, utensils, bowls, plates, and personal hygiene items in the overhead storage bags. They saved enough room on the floor that I was able to keep our 28-quart cooler, bottled water, the tent, camp chairs, sleeping bags, air mattresses, and other items in the rear compartment without even lowering the rear seat.

Dumb question, but it looks like the corner/curve is greater than 90° and specifically for the 4-door; happen to know the fit for a 2-door?I know you were asking about storage boxes to put on the floor of your Jeep. But have you considered storage containers that will keep some of your camping gear off of the floor?

They are real easy to install and remove, and I had planned on taking them back out after returning from the Rubicon. But after driving the Jeep for a few days with them installed I don't even notice a difference from before they were installed. I don't plan to remove them between camping trips anymore. Those are pretty interesting. My only issue against those are they block some of the view out the rear window although the reviews seem to say that it doesn't.
I'm going to try and consolidate some stuff on this next trip and see what works and what doesn't. Always looking to improve my camping setup.
