They are more than likely not forged.

I'm guessing they are cast. My powerwagon stock wheels are forged (china albeit) and are lightweight.

Only Forged wheels that I'm aware of in the FCA parts bin are the Alcoa sets for the SRT models (and probably anything for a Viper). I'd assume the JL sets are cell cast but possibly low pressure (or gravity) cast since the cost doesn't go up much vs the strength. It may be in FCAs best interest to go that route vs. no frills cell cast as wheel failures would be more common.

The PowerWagon had Alcoa forged up until 2012 when they outsourced overseas. They are still forged but made in China.

Never weighed my Stock JL wheels, I think I read somewhere they were in the 23 to 24 lb range, if so that might be about what a low pressure cast would weigh.
