Can anyone chime in with any significance April 9th might have? This is semi Good news I suppose

Ps it sounds like every dealer/jeep rep/jeep chat has a different answer, aka nobody knows what they are talking about, and/or when the top will indeed be available for order

Agree. Everyone from Jeep customer service to the dealerships has a different response to when color match tops will be available.
B417 seemed to connect with folks high up on the food chain. April 9 is worth waiting for me. Just would like a confirmation, hate to wait a month only to be back to square one.

That’s why I tried to reach out to a higher up and they had someone respond with a specific date...other dealers and customer service reps gave very generic timeframes so I’m banking on the 4/9 date I was given.

Looks like I'll be banking on the 4/9 date also. Great job by the way on how you chased it down. It's to bad that Jeep can't simplify everything and send a memo out to their dealer network providing that date. Makes you wonder who at corporate is falling asleep at the wheel.
Funny I talked to a girl at customer service today and she insisted that none of the new colors will have matching tops for 2018. Then I told her other members ordered Ocean Blue with color match tops and her response was they couldn't have because they're not avalable. It felt like I was talking to a brick wall.

My dealer emailed me today and said that Wednesday they have an inventory build call, after that he should have a better idea. I'm hoping its the April 9th date as well if not sooner. I'll wait until then, even though every day I loose money on my trade.

Right, but those items aren’t restricted on a sting gray jlu at this time. Sting ray is indeed avail for order just not with painted top. Not sure what your dealer is telling you about Thursday
