  4. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Just talked to the body shop, they went ahead and ordered new hinges. He said trying to refinish the old ones would cause the problem to come back again. He said all four doors have been stripped, corrosion removed, all the inner seams 'fixed' and its all primered- on all fours doors and the...
  5. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

I hear you. Its been a long road for me as well. I'm hoping this paint turns out well, and that they actually fix my steering this time, instead of telling me "its a jeep thing". If there was anything else I was interested in driving, it would have already been gone,...but there isn't. If I'm...
  6. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Agreed, but I also had spots on three doors, along the bottom edge as well. No where near the hinges. Something definitely went wrong. Mine is a 19

  9. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Dropped mine off today for steering recall, and having all 4 doors and hood repainted. Body shop said they're removing the doors and hood, stripping them down, removing any corrosion and repainting them all. The corrosion is on each hinge, as well as bubbling up at the bottoms of 3 of the...

  11. ESS start/stop not working properly!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you changed your tire size? Use a tazer? I have these exact issues, and if the above are true, you need to perform the top gear relearn procedure. Theres information in the tazer thread, but also you can just Google it. For me, seconds after I put it in 5th gear, I get the error, and...
  12. Spiderwebshade modification

I take my hardtop off once a year. I put the shade on when I install the softop at that same time. When winter comes around I remove the softop, the shade, and install the hardtop until spring.
  13. Spiderwebshade modification

I dont use it with the hardtop
  14. Spiderwebshade modification

No, no cutouts. I dont like how loose it is. It flaps like crazy at speed. My rugged ridge shade on my jk never flapped at all
  15. Spiderwebshade modification

I'll look the next time I pull the top back. Its the one piece for a four door, with no cutoutS. I dislike this product.
  16. Spiderwebshade modification

I have the one piece for a four door...and it never came with any tape. Was this a lesson learned later on?
  17. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

I was hoping for this sort of difference. Do you know what was done to yours?
  18. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

Should the clutch test always be performed? Any reason a dealer would forego this test?
  19. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

I'm in canada,...not actually sure. I'll look into it. However, I will say that I did actually disclose the fact that I have a dashcam to this dealership on a previous visit, if that makes a difference? Also, the camera isn't hidden, it's stuck on the windshield like most of them.
  20. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

Yes, i was thinking this might be a good idea, until a post a few up said, what happens if I ruin the clutch doing it, haha. But, you're probably right, I think this basically solves the problem
