Not all stickers are fun. A couple years ago I ordered a set of "Gay Pride" stickers off of Amazon and went around town putting them on my buddies trucks. Some of them drove around for a week before they noticed them. They all thought it was funny until they got hit by the "sticker bandit". As you could imagine, they had PTSD after about a month of this.
Hate to tell you this. Your buddies might be the ones getting the last laugh if you ordered from Amazon. Amazon uses algorithms to target advertisements and make suggestions for what other purchases you might like. You might have inadvertently been grouped to a certain demographic by ordering. Amazon and other retailers sell demographic and marketing data. Notice any new marketing to your Amazon account or emails after that order?

This thread should be merged with the Show your decal/sticker thread in the Show & Tell forum. See a lot more of them there.

I’m with you! I put my stickers on things I’ll own forever but also don’t care much about. Example: my Paula Abdul guitar. Cost my dad $50 like nine years ago, he got it on sale, and it actually plays fairly well. So to hide the fact that it’s a Paula Abdul guitar, I just put stickers all over it.

Also, I throw them on my Hydroflask and Nalgene so I know they’re mine. When I run out of room on these items, they’ll go on my toolbox or tough box.

I do not mind stickers at all but acoustic musical instruments will just not sound the same with a sticker on it I so my guitars stay clean

I could tell you, but then....
Only stickers I’ve ever had on a vehicle were stick figure deer that my son got at Bass Pro (yes, like the stick figure family decals people line up on the back windows of their minivans to show how many kids, cats, etc. they have.) Big difference with the deer stickers though was that my son would put one on the car for each deer I hit with it on my way to work. He’d apply them to the drivers side door, under the window. After my fifth one I felt like a WW2 fighter ace. After number 6 I sold the car...

I'm planning to steal this idea. But I am creating my own stickers so it will be a while before I get to it.
