This is hillarious. Stellantis doesn't have a clue.Lmfao. I'm going to add onto this. With the lease incentives on 4XEs being so incredible a lot of people were just leasing them and instantly buying out the lease. I guess Stellantis financial wasn't able to make any money off of these leases, so they announced that they'd be charging the DEALER a $1425 fee for all leases terminated within the first few months.
As you can expect, trying to charge the dealers a fee for managing to sell a product that isn't selling is frankly absurd. Within 48 hours it was reverted due to dealer outcry. At least they're listening.

48 hours. They actually sent another message in between, partially walking it back. The announcement came on wednesday, it was partially walked back on thursday, then completely walked back on friday. Here's the thursday message:How many days (or was it hours?) passed in between these two messages? Lol
Fee, then "pause" and now prorated. Stella waffling, who knew?48 hours. They actually sent another message in between, partially walking it back. The announcement came on wednesday, it was partially walked back on thursday, then completely walked back on friday. Here's the thursday message:

Yeah it's definitely not that.Other articles (many) say Stellantis is struggling more than others because their overall product lines are less fuel-efficient, making it harder for them to meet CAFE standards.
Carlos did his job and was paid very well 39 million to run the brand into the ground. While everyone there just sat by and allowed it
