Is anyone running the Griffin Attenuator on the drag link? What are the advantages and disadvantages to this? Has there been any improvement or not a worthwhile upgrade?

I have to say, this old thread really helped me. I upgraded my tie rod with the Steersmarts Yeti XD. It's the bigger one with the aluminum center at 1 3/4"

I was looking at upgrading my steering stabilizer with one of the through shaft ones from Fox or Teraflex. All of them are made to mount to the stock tie rod. The ones that do, I can't find for sale or they're for a JK, and the diameter of the mounting clamp isn't big enough. Northridge 4X4 makes a kit with a Teraflex TS, but I didn't see it when I ordered my tie rod.

I just ordered the STEER SMARTS HD-N STEERING STABILIZER. This is just what I was looking for, and it's much cheaper.

I posted this on another thread. " Replaced the lower control arms on my 2019 Rubicon with Rubicon specific lower control arms. The ones that came with my Rubicon were stock control arms so I had problems with steering-it drifted a lot especially on long straight roads. Just that extra 1/2" if extra length made all the difference. Now, I not only love the Rubicon, I love driving it. Thanks again Roky." :)

How are you liking your steering set up? Looking at these same components as I just got my JLUR with 37” KO2s on an RK lift. There’s been a lot of talk on different steering stabilizers and I noticed you’re running the Steer Smarts one vs. TF/Fox which I see thrown around all the time. Thanks in advance!
How have you liked the Steersmart setup with the RK lift? I am trying to plan my lift as we speak and trying to figure out everything I need. Going with the RK 3.5 X Factor No Limits kit. But want to incorporate the Steersmarts. Did you have any clearance issues etc etc.

Mine runs flawlessly and I have a 2.5” lift from RK with 37” tires. My tires rub at full lock on the front LCAs but that’s more to do with my wheel selection than the steering or lift components. No complaints from my end!

I’ve got 4.5 backspace, no rubbing, you should be golden with 3.5 …… are you installing lift yourself ?

Yes sir..... Trying to get the parts gathered and ordered prior. Wanting to do it all at the same time. Lift, New Drag link, Tie Rods, and Stabilizer... Looking at that Griffin attenuator as well and the Beefed up Sector shaft reinforcement bracket. All SteerSmarts.

Mine were 4.5” backspacing and a -12 offset but I have a 2.5” lift. The STT Pro tread pattern is really aggressive too so that didn’t help. Haven’t noticed it lately maybe because the tread has started to wear? I think my new beadlocks have the same specs but I’ll have to double check.
