We are going to be spending 2 months in Mexico and I'm wondering if there is a need to install an ignition cut out switch. Actually, I'm wondering if an ignition cut out switch would be good to have all the time even in the USA. What do you think?
The last time I had my 2.0 turbo oil changed, the service tech commented about a noise oil pump. No error codes and it runs great. I'll need to take it to a dealer for a check up. It is approaching 50k miles.
I have a 2 door 2019 JL Rubicon and plan to tow a trailer weighing about 1,000 pounds from the Phoenix AZ area to Blaine, WA. I'm sure that this will cause my LED headlights to blind most oncoming drivers at night. Is there something I can put on the rear axle to level out the JL when towing?
I thought I read that the antennas for the remote start were required for the remote keyless entry. I do have push button start but not remote start from my FOB.
I'm going to ask what might be dumb question-why put splash guards on a JL? Are they just for looks or do they provide some important function? I think it is a badge of Jeep ownership to have the side of my Jeep covered in road mud. ;)
Thanks! I saw that video and she is doing a JT. Is the parts list applicable to a JL Rubicon (minus the two rear door parts)? Can I assume it doesn't matter if it is a Rubicon or not?
I posted this on another thread. " Replaced the lower control arms on my 2019 Rubicon with Rubicon specific lower control arms. The ones that came with my Rubicon were stock control arms so I had problems with steering-it drifted a lot especially on long straight roads. Just that extra 1/2" if...
I love my 2.0 turbo. I'm not sure if you can still get them. It has more power and torque than I need on the street or on the trail. Glad I have it. Otherwise, I would get the diesel if I couldn't get the one I have.
I'm a fan of the Garmin GPS that I bought over 10 years ago and just keep getting those free updates. I have told the car sales people during my last three purchases, I don't care about having the Acura/BMW/Jeep GPS because they are not that good (however the BMW 3D was pretty cool). I prefer to...
I received the email and the offer was $149.99 (expires 12/31) for the 2021 version. It might be nice to have since the version I have often takes me to non-existent locations. How can I trust them to fix this issue? And, don't I already have the 2021 version: USA-IR-22.64.0-20210318-I0G5?
