Our problem isn’t the squirrels and citrus rats who seek refuge under our Jeep hoods. It’s our three Catahoula Leopard Dogs who catch, kill, and eat them.
The dogs caused $1K+ damage to my wife’s previous vehicle, a new van. A rodent fled from the dogs and sought refuge in the engine compartment. They demolished a steel fender and quarter panel trying to get at the critter. Fortunately, both Jeeps are lifted, and the dogs have much better access now ?.
