Squirrels hate flashing lights. You can hook a strobe light under the hood. I had to do this in the attic at my last house.

Did it look like I was hosting an EDM party?
Yes, it did. But I didn't have squirrels any more, either.

That did absolutely nothing for me.

I tried all the wise tails for repelling squirrels. 2 batteries and 2 wiring harness later. I got a sound and light emitter from Amazon. Only thing that has worked

How long have you had them under your hood? I am interested, but have had zero luck with the sonic unit for rodents inside the garage and barn.

I had a trail cam pic of a chipmunk sitting and eating a nut, by the sonic strobe light thing located on the battery.

Peppermint oil spray has worked.
