Mine is off a mph or two. Think it’s a safety feature since they know we all speed. My digital speedo is dead on with gps speed though.

My 2016 and my 2021 Willys is spot on, from what I see. When analog is showing 50, digital is showing 50. Let’s see what others post. But mine seems right on..

2020 JLUR (100% factory stock). My digital and analog speedometers are usually giving similar readings and off usually by maybe 1 or 2 mph. Did OP get any mods done?

Ok. You may need to have your speedometer recaliibrated. Best bet is to go to the guy who did your lift and installed 37s for you.

Maybe so but this has been pretty consistent in the vehicles I have owned and large amount of rental vehicles. Though it could be vantage point/viewing angle of the analog.

There isn't a vehicle manufacturer out there that would purposely have the speedometer (analog or digital) show that you are not going your true speed.

Not true. Nearly all speedometers are designed to err on the high side so they never show below your true speed. Manufacturers have no problem with showing slightly higher than your true speed.

Mine don't match all the time. It seems to start with 1mph more on the analog, and over the period of several starts increases to about 8-9mph (Was at 8mph diff today), then it suddenly goes back to being the same, and the process repeats.

It's been reported by several people over the last couple years.

But my digital always matches the GPS speed on my dashcam, and my phone when I've compared them.

You may ve experiance parralax. If you look at the analogue meter needle at an angle, it will look like it is not showing the correct speed. Look at it straight on you should see a different speed.

It will read correctly for the passenger.

Mine read about the same, +/-1 mph. I assume both the analog and digital displays receive the VSS from the same source. Looks like the needle on the analog gauge was not clocked correctly.
