My dealer said that his "brake tech" checked the system and drove the truck and it did not feel any different than any other Jeep. I have to do the old pump one time then the peddle gets hard.

OK how does that work? I don't see how the hood being open or closed has anything to do with the ESS. Besides, that switch was hung in the down position. A very small drop of oil solved that problem.
