You are doing almost EXACTLY what I did.
dash - Kicker 46CSC354 3.5" Coaxial speakers
Soundbar (4") - Kicker 46CSC44 4" Coaxial speakers
for my soundbar tweeters I used Kicker 46CSC354 3.5" Coaxial speakers BUT they don't fit well !!!
They sound great but you are really working to shoehorn them in without damaging them. I talked to Crutchfield and they are sending me some metra tweeter adapter brackets. I have 2 pairs of tweeters (JBL & Rockford Fosgate) leftover from my bronco that have never been used. I will put one of them in.
Either way, you should love the results!!! There's ample volume (windows up and SOT closed) and clarity. The speakers (dash especially) make a HUGE difference in the sound quality. This builds a "speaker bundle" for 200$ with 2 pairs of 3.5-inch kickers or 150$ with 1 pair of the 3.5-inch kickers and using my existing tweeters.
Great! A little confused though, you replaced the smaller 2 3/4" soundbar speaker with 3.5" Kicker 46CSC354 and that is the main issue?
I think ill stick with the smaller Kicker KSC270 2 3/4" to avoid fitment issues.
Did you order it all from crutchfield? This is what i have so far
- Kicker 46CSC354 3.5" Coaxial speakers (Dash)
- Kicker 46CSC44 4" Coaxial speakers (Soundbar)
- Kicker KSC270 2 3/4" Mid/Tweeters (Soundbar)
- Metra 72-7902 Speaker Wiring Adapters (do you know how many speaker adapters i would need? I think only for dash speakers?)
