Hi aqualung,Just took her in for the cruise control recall and they took pictures of the top to send to Jeep/FCA. They donāt have the authority to replace the top and not sure if they can fix it, so Iāll have to wait a little. Meanwhile Iāll avoid high speeds and rain. Iām sure it will leak. Fix or replace whatever. As long and the blame isnāt shifted on me, the seams fell apart way too easy so it must be a defect. Iāll keep everyone posted.

Itās been over two months and no answer on whether theyāre repairing or replacing it. I had my Jeep Wave oil and rotation last week and they still had no answer. Not very happy about this at all.Having the same ripping problem. I have had my top on for two months...had it down only twice. The ripping does not occur when the top is down or when you put it up or take it down but when its under the most stress when its up. Those plastic supports are so sharp the constant tension and vibration just eat through that then fabric.
Going to have to do the same thing and bring this into the dealer see if they can get it fixed. Its just a matter of time before all of mine rip.
