It was the correct part number for me and the pics that i posted and pics from prev posters. The part you have circled in your diagram looks like a different part. It doesnt look like the part i replaced.
how did you detach the other end? I get the need for a gear puller for one end of the part.

I dont know or remember. This was ~3.5yrs ago when i posted my pics of what i did. I used a crowbar to get them apart, but a gear puller would've been ideal--i just didnt have one, or easy access to one.

It wasnt easy, but i took the top off and laid it on the garage floor and worked on the frame that way, essentially upside down. It wasnt easy to get off, and was a PITA on my hands and knees, but no rollbar to get in the way. I had full 360* access to the part to get it apart.

Hoping someone can help. I'm replacing some parts on my soft top. Somehow I have three different (if you include the driver side bow arm) angled bow arms.

Should the passenger and driver side bow arms be the same angle, just reversed from each other?

The image shows the two passenger side arms (left and center) and the driver side one (right). The driver side one is flatest, the left one, next flatest, and the middle one curved more over. None have any bends in the arm iteself, just the top mounting part is different between all three. Any ideas? Thanks!

Two on the left are def bent, the one on the right looks correct.

I have a brand new top off the Jeep, let me know if you need specific picture of anything. I'm also parting it out if you need parts, PM me or throw a comment in my for sale post and we can try to work something out. - Tom

Thanks for all the knowledge sharing.

I bought a used 2020 JLU 3 weeks ago. Just now trying out the soft top... glad it's not my first Jeep with a soft top.

Getting the bolts in the passenger side seemed to be too much work. 5-10 minute struggle, but my first JLU, so I dismissed it as noob fumbling.

Then when it came time to filp it forward & buckle it down, something was clearly wrong. When comparing passenger arms to driver arms, I found it (see pics). It didn't help that the paint was flaking off... probably where someone was trying to bend it back too.

WOW! I will always wonder how the previous owner bent that.

Now, time to figure out how to buy the replacement part.

Thanks again for all the chatter. Definitely will be helpful... I assume.
