It's actually the rail over the sound bar, so not that far back, i think its the 2nd or 3rd bow/railis that the back rail? if so, the window slides out of the rail, then just slide it back in, check the opening on the rail first to see if it is open to far, that has never happened on mine, but the side window one time was being a pita and kept lining up wrong and would pull out of the channel, but that may have been me just getting used to the new top, hasn't happened since
Out of curiosity - where did you apply this to? Any pics to explain?I just had this issue on my 18 and used the following based on a recommendation in another thread. https://www.amazon.com/Aleenes-Super-1-5oz-Fabric-Adhesive/dp/B00XECBU64/ref=sr_1_1_pp?crid=1D19QB1I8E9NT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.iEBexyGYDugKmujZX5LqAsGzLBwYY8JXy_x73ZpqCQkt83WD9GflORvQJ2ya6CD7phToLpXdbLRJNgxgeoPfu0hwGAAObZ0zPuouMiPMFs8wuyn90bjfrcsNp-e-1unpVxxaTqF9VPSXJDjCzJy_-hXTv1RxcqdAa2u7Y31Lgj3s5ka9neJoN5j7J0cZ_7JtypyUU_UVy1GLLHiGjrgby53CD89RG48wCadQZuMRslvE58u0SKaXrKa1AgbYHXa9OW6t-ynPmjYgPBW1S2V-x7KiUWZCRRWgU425VuDrmgc.BF2JTNDaJ1B3AOvKqNn04RM86wNlCRuMTu404vb-tYk&dib_tag=se&keywords=aleene's+super+fabric+adhesive&qid=1757085099&sprefix=alee,aps,216&sr=8-1&th=1
Working so far.
so you applied the fabric glue in reference to the posters image here (the yellow):On the fabric and the bow. Put the top partially up and ran the glue along the fabric on the roof. Then closed the top and put pressure on the top so that the adhesive held on the bow..
Ah ok, so you basically closed the gap between the bow and the extra slack in the roof fabric. When I pushed up the top I still had some fabric attached to the bow and fabric on the top. So I put the glue on the bow fabric then closed the top and put pressure on it. I used some old books and some bricks to hold the top and bow in contact overnight.
