All Google searches lead me back to this thread. Did anyone try just gluing the fabric back on to the bow? It's discussed above, but nobody said they actually tried that solution.

Also, I called Bestop to see what options I have. The rep told me that their agreement with Mopar requires them to make their tops slightly different than what Bestop sells directly. So even if I bought the top deck, it wouldn't fit exactly right and could cause problems later. Even their replacement tops would require new rails.
Did you find anything that works?

How bad is the noise with the issue? I just bought a used soft top with this issue but haven’t put it on.

Isnt a sound issue at all. It closes fine.
Its just that it doesnt fold properly when opening so it takes more muscle to fold the fabric in the right spot. Also, I have to keep the back windows in if I want to ride in sunrider mode bc they are the only things holding it up once I pop the latches. If the back windows are out it has to be all the way up or all the way down-no in between.

Ahh yeah that sucks. Sorry to hear about the lease. This really shouldn’t be happening so quickly. I was gonna potentially give gorilla tape or Velcro tape a try. Was hoping someone would have had confirmed luck with it before I tried it though. Have you tried any tapes?

Will do. I’ll post back here if I find a solution. I have to order some missing brackets and screws before I can install it.

My 21 standard soft top is doing the same thing. All 4 bows have separated from the top. I open and close my top with care making sure it sits properly when opened. Took it to the dealer and was told that it wasn't something that will be covered under warranty. The paper like material attached to the top is clearly a manufacturing issue and with other people having the same issue shows that I'm not trying to mishandle the soft top. From what I can tell it's only the standard version that has this issue. I put in a help ticket with fca customer care and called back today to check my status and they told me they didn't have my status number and also that it wouldn't be covered. How does a vehicle with bumper to bumper coverage not warranty a soft top due to manufacturing defects? Is anyone having this covered and if so information was needed to prove to them in order to correct this issue.

I would take it to another dealership if you can.
I had mine replaced under warranty. The dealership had to open a case with FCA and send them pictures of the problem but there wasn't any issues and was approved for replacement.

I am currently on the second dealership. The local one is 2 months out for scheduling service. I received a response from from fca and they said they weren't covering it and just went off of what the dealership said. It is absolutely a manufacturers defect with the material used to attach it to the rails.

Definitely a defect in the material, over time that material actually started turning into dust on my top.
If I ran my fingers over it, it left a fine powder on them.
