All of a sudden, the soft top has detached (seems like a fabric material was holding them together) from all the folding bows, keeping me from being able to properly raise and lower the soft top. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Is there an adhesive available that I could apply to reattach?

Mine has done the same thing but only from one bow.

Go to a boating place or call one and ask if they have a canvass or vinyl glue. I'm sure they will recommend a bonding solution for material.

Tried that. It doesn’t work. The “fabric” just continues to tear. Another shop I called said they could take it apart and repair it but it would take a month for them to get to it and cost $300 ish. I found a new top for $500.

Mine is doing this; 2 of the bows are detached from end to end. I’m taking it in next week. It’s still under warranty. Has Jeep replaced anyone’s top?

Bringing this thread back, mine recently started detaching from the bow above the front seats.
Has anyone had theirs replaced and did this issue come back?

I'm wondering if the way these tops are designed this might just happen again after warranty.

I ended up having mine replaced under warranty. I'm not sure if there is any fix for it besides replacement of the top material. It does look like the material above that front bow is thicker now but I also don't have an original top to compare to so I'm not 100% sure.

You might contact Bestop since they make the soft tops for the Jeep to see if they have a potential fix.

For those this has happened to, is your top the "standard" or the "premium" soft top?

All Google searches lead me back to this thread. Did anyone try just gluing the fabric back on to the bow? It's discussed above, but nobody said they actually tried that solution.

Also, I called Bestop to see what options I have. The rep told me that their agreement with Mopar requires them to make their tops slightly different than what Bestop sells directly. So even if I bought the top deck, it wouldn't fit exactly right and could cause problems later. Even their replacement tops would require new rails.
