I went with the Rock Hard angled up version. I like them but the angled down version would provide a little more usable step.

To reinforce the point about Carid:
Today while asking for prices/shipping on go rhino Dominator D6 D64506T "steps" (actually a running board) and the matching drop down steps that bolt on. Carid's "expert" told me the drop down steps D6410000T were out of stock and he advised me to instead by 4 of the hitch mount steps D360T! Unbelievable, like I would install four 2" receivers under each door (I have a 4 door). total idiot.

I ended up getting lucky and found the correct items on Amazon with free shipping (not in continental US so shipping from other vendors is $225); yesterday Amazon did not have the D64506T, and most items like this all say "won't ship to your address", but today I got lucky. It will take a month or two but that is fine with me.
