I am contemplating side steps on my 2 door Rubicon. I am looking for decent coverage from gravel being thrown up on my rear fenders. What do you use on your 2 door Rubicon and why? Pleaae post photos. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I went with the ACE sliders, part of the reason was I believe it was the only option you could keep the Rubi rails.

Jimbo,
Did you remove your stock sliders to install those? Do you have a link for the JCA Sliders for the JL?

I went with the Ace sliders, love them.
I’d say they catch most all of the rock flung up at the body of the Jeep.
Even with the open spaces I went from the telltale “thuck” sound of a nugget being flung onto the body of the wrangler to the happy “ping” sound of rocks bouncing off the slider instead of my wonderful firecracker red paint job.:like:

Thanks Blammmo...I have ordered the ACE Sliders. I am thinking that I can add some netting or plate or something to the open areas and catch even more rocks. The added plus will be that my g/f will then be able to get in the back seat of the Jeep without using the step we bought for around the house. LOL.

I got a set of ICI Magnums purchased through CarID.com which delivered fast and were easy to install. Why? Mostly because the Westins or Rough Country version in the same style weren't available yet ( !!! ) I'll run this style through the winters and then run better sliders for off-roading during the summer.
