Jeep Wrangler JL Side bar installation 71S6IEi1tdL._AC_SX679_

Hello everyone, I installed the side bars on the picture yesterday, but ran into an issue with the passenger side where the hole on the middle bracket is not aligning with the Jeep's pre-drilled hole. It's misaligned by by perhaps 2/16th of an inch. The other two brackets are fully secured. What can I do? Should I drill a new hole on the bracket and put another metal screw there? Should I dismount the entire side bar, expand the hole with a step drill bit and re-install? Even though it feels like it is firmly in place and secure when I step on it, I want to practice 'safety first' at all times. Thank you.

Can you loosen the other two and move it to get the middle in before torquing them down?

Play with loosening the brackets and then tighten all of them down. You could round file the 1/8" if needed.
