There was another thread about 4xe discounts and I can't remember seeing 10% below MSRP. If that is what you got - great! Not easy in todays' car/Jeep market...
Yeah, 5-6% off invoice (offered by a bunch of dealers on 4xE orders) translates to roughly 9-10% off MSRP. Can get even higher considering they bump the MSRP often between order and delivery time!

Every new vehicle is hard to find and usually requires a special order. Bought the wife a non-Jeep back in October. We lucked out. They had unloaded the exact model she wanted an hour earlier, it wasn't reserved and we couldn't even get into the vehicle that evening since it hadn't been checked-in. The entire dealership had maybe 8 new vehicles and 200+ used cars.

I was getting a TSB done on my Wrangler 2 weeks ago. They had about 50 Wranglers but all were used. They did have some new TJs.

At the 4xe level, each 1% of discount off MSRP is going to be ~$500 (not exact, but easier math)

So if you can get one for $500 off sticker, that's around a 1% discount.

If you custom order, you could easily get 8-10%, based on the threads. That adds up to ~$4K-5K off.

Up to you if that discount is worth the wait. That's easily a really nice lift kit, maybe a new set of wheels+tires, and/or bumpers.

The wild card is the wait. There's no consistent timing - some people are getting theirs in 8 weeks, others wait 8 months. But if you can wait, you can save $$$.

Searching high and low for a 4XE. My experience so far. This is the hardest time I’ve ever had buying a car.

Left a deposit on a Jeep out of state that was expected within 2 weeks. A month later the jeep was still sitting in a lot somewhere waiting for shipment with no eta.

Local dealer has a 21 sitting on the lot with a 3k mark up. I make an offer of 1k over sticker they come back at 2k. I ask them to meet me in the middle and lower it $500 more they decline and tell me they’re original offer is only good for that day.

Another out of state dealer has one for below sticker which is cool. I tell them I can leave a deposit and pick up this weekend if they can get me a deal on a level 2 charger. They initially come back and tell me they can get me one for $730. I was like uh they are only 600 from mopar. They say they have a mark up on them but can give me a 15 percent discount to help me out (still more than ordering one myself)

Another dealer out of state said the best they could do was 100 under msrp. I ask for a deal on the charger, they respond they don’t know what they can do but we could discuss after I leave a deposit and make the 6hr trip down to pick it up.

I’m very impatient and that combined with these dealers has me losing my mind.

Last night I walked around Friendship CDJR in Bristol, VA, they had at least 4 - 4Xe's on the lot that I saw. I wouldn't recommend trading a vehicle with them though, they will burn you on a trade. Straight out purchase isn't too bad though.

Are you willing to wait for a factory order? I've seen it mentioned multiple times but didn't notice if you ever replied. There are dealers here who are discounting 4-7% below invoice on factory orders. That's $5-7k savings, you could buy a few level 2 chargers and have them installed. If you need something sooner than 8-12 weeks I'd suggest checking if you qualify for affiliate rewards through your employer or you can donate $100 to Tread Lightly. That would get you 1% below invoice and dealer gets reimbursed 2%. Just need to find a dealer that will accept it and wait 30 days after donation if you can't get it through your employer.

I just want to know who is building some of these jeeps. I'm located in georgia where it simply doesn't get cold for long. My wish list is simple on a 4xe... tow package. I dont need another option on there. 10k of options on some of these without a damn hitch. when looking at standard JLURs they are building them with 15k of options and no LED lights or hitch.. its insanity
All depends on the buyer. Didn't add a hitch to mine as don't plan on towing anything with it. Have my Ram for any towing needs. Different buyers, different needs/wants. Beautiful thing about ordering what you want... its what you want, not somebody else
