@JeepCares
Today has been absolutely terrible.
I drive my dream jeep, literally.
22 4XE wrangler high altitude
On my way to work, stopped at gas station. Tried to start JEEP and nothing. All these random errors were coming up like Check fuel cap andCharging system service, engine service and a blindspot error with some symbols lighting up. The only thing I could think to do was check fuses and everything was fine.
odd thing is the screen never turns on unless the JEEP is on, nor does my dash but the dash and screen were on and I couldn't get them off. Jeep didn't make a noise at all when trying to start... like it was totally dead, couldn't get into neutral either....no previous issues or warnings of any kind I Work 12 hour shifts and headed home about 9 PM last night with no issue. today I spent the majority of the day at a gas station waiting on a tow truck that showed up 3 1/2 hours later. I tried hitting the assistance button in the Jeep, and it wouldn't work, and thankfully the JEEP employee that sold it to me helped me out and sent me a link.
Once at JEEP the tow truck guy called me to let me know he had arrived and needed someone to come out so if I could get in touch with them. I tried calling JEEP multiple times, when I tried to leave a message it would hang up on me completely. absolute nightmare. Not being able to get a person on the phone at all is extremely frustrating.
As if this wasn't enough, I was then told there are no rentals at all... I was under the understanding that for any service needs there would be rentals available no problem..(that was before I signed) so then I'm told they will have it minimal 48 hours because they don't perform service on the weekends??? I'm not going to lie I'm pretty peeved, considering one of my main reasons for going with JEEP is because of the care package and service.
Here's my dilemma. I have a wedding in my backyard in less than two weeks with
zero way of getting around or anyway of driving to and from work which I have to do twice a day because I own two dobies that feed at lunch. I have a high stress, job in healthcare working 12+ hours a day.
So the service technician tells me that no one is really trained. These are just too new, at this point they have no idea what it could be... and i'm sitting here thinking I paid how much for this jeep omg. I don't understand why JEEP would release vehicles without training people and making sure every dealership that sells these vehicles knows how to work on them. I have had zero issues for the year and a half that I've owned this Jeep, but I am a female that prefers not to be stranded in awful parts of town at random, by herself, and after reading these forums, I am extremely concerned that I won't see my vehicle for quite some time considering what's been going on with many others.
The amount of crApI'm going to get for encouraging people to buy one of these hybrids. I've gone on and on about the benefits and the top-notch service, so much so two of my staff members now drive one. The humiliation I felt watching that JEEP Being lifted up on a tow truck.??? I understand needing more time to figure out the issue, but no rentals available either? Are you serious? This could not have happened at a worse time. Just typing this, my blood pressure is through the roof The stress right before this wedding of not having a vehicle and being able to finish everything, My husband is a fire engineer that works out of town so his vehicle is with him, We do not have a spare car. My family lives in Nevada and I in Ca it's not as easy as asking someone to borrow a car, and I would assume that JEEP does not intend on paying for Ubers everywhere but I will most certainly be expected to make that jeep payment?
Jeep-less and stranded for the weekend like ????
????, i'm going to be dead meat when this soon to be bride finds out my situation. I'm Sorry I never post things online like this. I never leave bad reviews or vent or whatever that's not who I am. I am speaking out of frustration. My apologies. Really hoping someone at jeep can pull through on this for me. I believe in miracles ??
