Tazer is a workaround for a broken sensor. Potting will prevent working sensors from filling with gear oil and dying.

I potted mine. It wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be.

You really should read through the potting thread and the other extensive thread on the locker failure. They have a ton of info on them. The reality is...

The sensors randomly fill with gear oil and fail.
The FCA solution is to replace your entire axle. You CAN NOT get the sensor on it's own (we have tried).
The best solution is the one @chevymitchell puts forth with the potting tutorial.
The second best IMO is the Tazer harness which admittedly is WAY over priced.
The last solution is to spend your life at the dealer getting axles replaced every few months.

We all need to find a way to place a group order for like 1,000 sensors. It is listed in many on-line catalogs (and lots of Chinese sites). I'm willing to contribute to a crowdfunding scheme to buy them, if anyone can find a place to order them from.

Yes… I’ve responded to 4 or 5 different posts now about acquiring this sensor.

TE Connectivity will not sell it. I tried to get a quote to buy 100 of them. 2 brokers couldn’t even quote me and they all said the same thing TE Connectivity said; not for sale. It’s a proprietary part.

I think someone reached to TE and they wouldn't sell it. But I think reaching out to the Chinese TE distributor sites may actually yield a different answer. I tried some Alibaba supplier (with little research to see if I could get a quote for qty 1)with no success.

I think the key would be to do a crowd funding and go to a distributor with an order for qty 1,000 and ask for a quote.

This was my issue and I have not had a single warning light since I fixed the wiring in the front Locker harness. Z Automotive sensor bypass did not work for me and both sensors are half full of differential oil right now.
