I have a 23 rubicon with the Xtreme Recon package and don’t like that it doesn’t sit level.
What do you suggest as far as a reputable kit that could accomplish this?

How far off are you. IIRC, the stock Rubi fenders are different height front to rear, so measure bottom of frame.

Yeah, to give us an idea, we’d need the measurements from ground to the XR lip and a picture to give us an idea. But to have a minimal rake that won’t make you ass low (reverse rake) with a little weight out back, the front and rear measurements should be about the same.

Mine came from the factory with the front steel bumper and had a bit of rake to it already. I added a Warn Evo winch which dropped the front a bit more. I went with the Terraflex 1.5" leveling kit. With a average tool bag in the back and a full tank of gas, It sits perfectly level when measured with my good eye;

I've got a 23 Willys JLU XR (2.0, plastic bumpers, tow package). I thought it sat level, but I didn't like the extended front bump stop (and thought it would look a little better with a little bit of lift). So to give a little more room up under the front bump stop and keep it level, I added an 0.5" Teraflex spacer front and rear. They were easy to install.

I finished what Jeep started with the XR package... | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) For Rubicon, 4xe, 392, Sahara, Sport - JLwranglerforums.com

They (aftermarket) make spacers starting at 0.5" tall, and go up incrementally to 1.5" to 2". Figure out how much lift you need up front, and go from there.

Two things I will add though. When you add a spacer up front, think of the Jeep's frame as a see-saw, with the rear axle being the pivot/fulcrum point. When you raise the front, the back bumper of your Jeep MAY go down a little bit in response. It did anyways when I put a spacer lift on the front of my 96 Ram 1500 truck.

And the red factory XR front shocks don't extend very far in their factory position - add a spacer up front and you'll have even less final extension. With mine with the 0.5" lift, I've got about 3" of shock extension left (that's not much). Seems to be fine on the road for now, but one of my next purchases will be a set of four Fox 2.0 IFP shocks for a 2 - 3" lift.
