I'm looking to see if anyone leveled the XR, or lifted it slightly , 1" - 1.5"

Can anyone recommend the easiest route for this? Should I just do spacers? Anything I should worry about such as the geometry or shock travel? My understanding is that the XR is about 1.5" higher than a standard Rubicon, so a 1.5" spacer / coil lift on the XR would be a 3" lift. Thanks

Wondering the same. The XR shocks are longer. I doubt the control arms are. But you can order the Mopar 2 inch lift control arms for like 60 bucks.

I lifted my 23 Willys 2.0T XR 0.5" with spacers front and rear (so 2" lift total). I think it looks good now with the factory 35" tires, and I have no intention of ever going with a taller tire. No steering adjustments needed with the 0.5" lift. That left me with about 2" of front shock extension (droop) remaining (I measured while I had it apart installing the spacers). The more you lift your XR the less factory shock extension you'll have. Thats fine I guess for pavement, but my next suspension purchase will be a set of Fox 2.0 IFP shocks for a 2 to 3 inch lift all the way around. I also added the Mopar LCAs when I first got the Jeep (my very first mod on the JLU).
