Did you have to deal with the broke bolt issues
Nope, this doesn’t have you remove the body mount bolts! Major part of why I went with this option

I have the Mopar Side Steps, they bolt in the same places as the rock rails, no need to touch the body mount bolts. I purchased them from the dealer and got them installed by the dealer. It was on my Jeep invoice, that way it’s covered under my Jeep warranty.

These are what I have as well, I just needed the step so my daughter could get in the back seat and I liked the look of them. They are NOT sturdy enough to take any sort of impact though.

I’m looking to add these to mine to make it easier for the kids to step up, and I’m wondering if they also provide some additional protection from rocks / debris thrown by the front tires? I’m also considering adding the standard side steps that come with the Sahara (wider and no gap by the front fender), but I prefer the look of these. Thanks

I’m only considering side steps if the wife breaks my chops that her mother can’t get in Rubicon.

Here’s some pictures, it does protect a bit (enough for me)... I would say that they protect as much as the factory ones that I had on my JKU Sahara. The nicest thing about them is that it is much easier to get in!

I spoke to My Salesman today and he told me when they have a more accurate eta they can order me or I can order any side step and they will in stall it. He told me it doesn’t pay for mopar steps bc of the steep price they have.
