What a small world. I’m from Lincoln but live in Columbus now 80 miles north of you. We woke up to 7” here. I had just switched my hard top to soft top Friday thinking of spring and woke up to a surprise. Safe travels to EJS!!
I mentioned in my previous post, we we were in Lincoln...we were actually in Kearney about an hour further west.

Crazy morning. I-80 was closed out of Kearney so we had to reroute to Route-34...slower travel, but it kept us moving.

Some parts weren't working so great today...

It was 40 degrees as we made Denver. When we got to the Eisenhower Tunnel (11,158 ft) the temp dropped to 1 degree...life in the Rockies!

I am planning on arriving in the afternoon on Sunday, April 2nd if you are still there and want to grab some food or a beer and catch up (and see the 392)! I think our last Moab meeting was almost a year and a half ago? Too long!
Hi, it has been too long! I'd love get together for a meal or whatever we can do.

Looking forward to seeing your new 392. Hope to see you soon buddy✌?

I put this video together to document what I've done to get the ride height dialed in on my build. My hope is that maybe it can help provide a blueprint for speccing springs when we do our lift(s). Knowing now how I use my Jeep, I would at the very least installed the 1/2" rear coil spring spacer when I did my lift install. It would be nice if we could do this part once.

I will be reaching out to Metalcloak to see if they would in fact they would allow different springs to specc'd with our lifts. Here's the video.

Great video! I was asking myself this very question. I recently added a fridge and slide setup, with intentions of also putting in the AAL cargo shelf. I’m concerned with my full load out I’ll be needing a bump in spring size for the rear. This video helped me with understanding the best way to go about checking. Thank you sir!

Thanks Chuck, glad to hear you found it helpful.

I'm at EJS this week and if I get a chance, I'll speak directly with Metalcloak on options for speccing different length springs for individual builds at the time we order our lifts. This may already be possible with some manufacturers, but I like more info..

I love when this happens. We come in from running a trail and pull into the car wash next to my friend Jason, @392OVRLND. Nice getting a look at his beautiful 392 build.

Steven, there were many highlights on my trip, but seeing you (not once, but twice) and meeting your lovely wife was definitely among those highlights. I always appreciate our time together. My friend Mike, who you met on Sunday, and I are talking about returning to Moab in October. If you can swing it, it would be great to meet you out there.

That is one of my favorite aspects of Jeeping...making fiends.

Let's keep October in play for Moab, I may be able to join you two.

As always, great pics! ??

I’m planning on going to Moab the last weekend in September Steven. If you’re out that way and don’t mind a couple Moab newbies to tag along with you.
