They made you buy both sides!?!? Yeah, That is pretty disappointing. That would be good for people to know before they buy RSE products.I have the extra skid plates on the RSE sliders I have on my 392, and still managed to bend the slider enough to make the step inoperable. The opening in the skid plate no longer lines up with the step. And, the rocker panel of the Jeep actually got pushed in a small amount. That is a mystery to me, because the top of the step slider where it meets the rocker panel is still straight. Only the rocker panel got pushed in. That incident was my fault, due to driver error on Cliffhanger trail last week. I tried to follow the same line a rock buggy in front of me took. A bit too much on the skinny pedal along with the Jeep slipping off a ledge and dropping 3 feet onto the slider. Proof that if you tried hard enough you could probably break an anvil.
I called RSE and ordered a replacement this morning. I am a bit disappointed that they would not sell just the right hand side. Now I have a spare driver side that I don't think I'll ever need because I can see what is happening on my side of the Jeep
