Looking at Rockslide Engineering steps and just seeing if anyone had regrets or issues with them or are they as good as I see people say they are?

I have them and have had no issues. My wife loves them. People have had issues mostly with the earlier generations of steps it seems. There are a few threads of people mentioning issues.

Did you have any issues with one of the brackets hitting the crash bar? I saw a couple videos and they said they had to reach out have an updated bracket sent out.

I have a 23 and removed that crash protection piece on the frame prior to installing. I think like you said Rockslide has changed their mounting bracket to account for this. Also search for threads about broken body mount bolts if you are doing the install yourself as some have had issues. I don’t know enough about the 24 or 4xe models though. Probably speak to RSE customer service directly. Also @ExpeditionBuilds has a discount code.

I installed a set on the 2023 I had and the 2024 that I have to replace it and both had the crash bracket on the passenger side frame and I had no issues with either install.

Awesome. Maybe they have updated that part.

I love mine. I've had two issues, but RSE stepped in each time, no questions asked, and sent out parts. Honestly, they are my fave mod on my Jeep.

I just installed mine a few weeks ago on my ‘22 2-door. Pretty easy install. I had already removed that crash bar bracket; but there was zero conversation about it in the instructions - if that helps.

UPDATE: For anyone looking at the thread Rock Slide Engineering confirmed with me that they have updated the bracket to now clear the crash bracket on all kits moving forward.

I have a 2020 JLUR installed the RSE steps after 38 in tires and 4.5 inch lift. The steps (GEN 2) worked great for awhile then the gas struts gave up and needed to be replaced. I replaced the struts and then same problem happened. I spoke to RSE and they gave me the new conversion kit with the spring upgrade eliminating the gas strut. Its been over a year now and no problems. Point is that RSE is a standup company and will take care of customers and address any issues. I would buy these steps again, I think their great. Also I added the skid plates/rocker guards for the steps, they are very stout and I have hit them hard on rocks and they have held up very well. Great products Great company!

I have had a set of gen 2s on my gladiator for 3 years now and only had a one issue after a year or so and RSE fixed it immediately. I didn’t think twice about buying a new set for my 24 wrangler that I installed two weeks ago with no issues.

Same, a little rough start with passenger side motors/controllers but loved them on mine.

@ExpeditionBuilds how much of a discount is that discount code?
