I installed these because I’m a cheap a55. 8 pods for $130. No complaints so far. Super bright and can turn on and off with my aftermarket AUX buttons or with cell phone. Can change colors through Bluetooth on cell phone also

I like that Switch setup. I just went with the standard Mopar 4 switch one.

Yeah mine didn’t come with the factory ones and I wanted more than 4 so this was it. Only $250 so cheaper than factory ones and works great so far

I just installed some Lux rock lights. I need to move my fronts to shine down more. Maybe make a metal plate and attach that to the plastic inner fender wells. Other than super happy with them. Ordered on a Friday and received the following Friday.

Two questions:
1) Is that the VOSwitch JL300? If so, did you install yourself? How difficult was that to wire? I have one sitting in a box that I may try to wire up this weekend.
2) Where did you mount the rock lights? Anything that had to be drilled or were you able to use existing holes?

yes voswitch jl300 but I had buddy install it for me because he’s done all my stereos/electrical for years. He also installed rock lights. 1 in each wheel well, one by each slider, one front and rear bumper

Did that involve any sort of drilling or were you able to using any pre-existing holes/mount areas?

Nice. Can you describe where and how you mounted them. I’m not seeing a lot of great options in the plastic wheel / fender liners.

I'll take some better pictures when I get home later. But here's what I have.
For the front pair, I used a fender mounting bolt. I had to use a 5/8th steel spacer so it would sit level and wasn't sitting against the liner. For the 2 on each side, I used the included Z brackets and mounted the forward and rearward most mounting bolts for the rock rails. The rears are mounted with the included L bracket up against the frame where the factory bumper bracket bolts to.

@Yellowssm can you give more details on those aux switches? Obviously aftermarket? Is it plug and play with the current aux switches from Jeep? Meaning if I got the aux switches from factory could I pop those out and just plug these in so I would have those cool lighted buttons and actual names for the things I have?

Thanks.

General lighting questions; so many options I’m a bit confused on what I need.

Planning rock lights to help light up the desert camp sites and keep creepy crawlers at bay.

After that not sure. Building up a back country exploring and camping Jeep. Won’t be doing much in the way of night trails or runs. Maybe a few here and there. Not a rock crawler either.

Light bar? Ditch lights? Camp lights off the roof rack?

Much thanks.
