Between the 3.5 height before a body is added, the shock hitting the frame at flex, and the rear trackbar danger close to exhaust, I'll be recommending MC from here on out, for sure.
If using a long travel shock without an offset, that is certainly a possibility. First verify that the axle is centered by adjusting the track bar as needed.

We would love to see a photo of the exhaust/track bar scenario. When parts are installed per our instructions, there is absolutely zero interference. What bump stops and shocks are used here?

Yes, I am referring to Jay over at Stomper. He went by a dealership and took measurements of a stock rubi JLUR. Based on his measurements, I am sitting at 2-3/8 above stock height. The MC lift, in comparison, is sitting at 4-1/8 above stock.

The spring hitting the frame, I get that. Long travel shocks paired with the angle of the mount causes impact. This was addressed by MC with the inclusion of outboard shock mounts. I am using Skyjacker 3.5 shocks, and at full flex there is approximately 2 inches of shock left, with the body of the shock on the top.

The axles are indeed centered, and the vehicle has been through an alignment. I'm not sure what's going on, but to be achieving the same amount of height out of a 2.5 inch spacer lift is a bit insane, especially for the price.

As far as using bumpstops, I'm not. I'm the only one using a RK 3.5 X-Factor in the area and am literally being embarrassed by MCs lift on the RTI, so I'm using every possible advantage I can get, to include not using bumpstops.

The swaybar bolt isnt an issue as it's irrelevant because the swaybar is bottoming out on the frame anyway, so I need to adjust its testing position lower to give it more play at the top.

I've included pictures of the MC on 37s hitting buggy levels of flex, as well as what I'm achieving. As far as lift height, you can clearly see from the above pictures that my spacer lift is sitting higher than the currently installed RK lift.

I mean would I be wrong if I said Martin's 2.5 on 37s looks the same if not MORE clearance in fenders than my 3.5 on 35s? The 3.5 on 35s should look ridiculously small. Hell, people even ask me if I'm running a 2.5 lift.

I also have a 37 rear tire, tailgate reinforcement, 80lb winch, now a high lift on the front bumper, and some some armor and boat load of tools in there. I do not have my measurements at work but it seemed I got the full 2.5".

The shocks you are mentioning need to be offset top and bottom. The JL 3.5 RK systems will take offset top and bottom mounts which will be included in our 2.25 shocks. Then you can use 12” travel front and 13” travel rear shocks without interference with the suspension setup correctly. You could have called us and we would have gladly provided you with the proper information. We will be offering offset bottom mounts for our 2.625 series shocks and you can pre order them if you want to. They replace the OEM mounts and change the orientation of the hardware for articulation and less shock bushing wear.

Our lift heights are as close to nominal as you can reasonably get. We can post pics of the validation of that with the JL Rubi we just threw together to take with us to our race at Kentucky this weekend early next week or possibly over the weekend. If company X is stating a nominal lift height and coming in 5/8 to 3/4 to 1” over that nominal lift height is that really a good thing or is there an issue there? Our systems are designed again to be close to nominal, provide a quality ride , on road performance, Offroad ability and durability.

Fizzlepop. We will reach out to you via PM to give you someone to contact directly to assist you. Obviously somethings are off and need solid input.

I completely understand every manufacturer having seperate lift heights, and differences. What I dont understand is from axle to spring perch lip I am 2-3/8 higher than stock. That's about as close to solid measurements as you can get eliminating ground and tire discrepancies.

To all. One of the things we are seeing in this thread and many other threads regarding the JL is the spread of incorrect information, people trying to combine incompatible parts/components etc. This is common with many new platforms. A great source of knowledge is to call the manufacturers directly and go over every detail of your build! Most manufacturers are great and will do what they can to provide you the best information possible.

Here is my measurements from bottom of spring seat to lip of perch. I've been talking to Doug out of Outlaw Offroad for a few days. His Sahara with 1000lbs of gear is over an inch higher than this measurement.

Soooo..... I installed a 2.5” adventure kit. There was some mix up with the lower control arms, however Adam with Rock krawler took care of it ASAP and their customer service was awesome. I did order my kit from northridge 4x4 and had to wait a month even though it showed in stock on their website (pretty sure this is a common problem with them) I have been ordering from River City ever since and Marcus has been top notch. Now when I installed the RK kit I put an additional rough country spacer on, hoping for it to sit higher in the front than the rear ( my style I like that, not for everyone). I was sure glad I did, with the 3/4” spacer and the 2.5” kit it put me just shy from level at the bottom of the fenders. I may go back and order the 3.5” front springs to remove the spacer. I do not think using the same springs as the JK for the front was the best option as I would have liked it to level at the same time, but RK knows far more than me. The RK kit gave me exactly 2.5” and on the front 3.25” (with the spacer). I would say their kit is true to the height advertised. I went with the falcon shocks and 37x13.50 tires.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but could you measure your spring from bottom of seat to lip of perch, like mine?

You caught me in the garage, it measures at almost dead nuts 12.5”. Sahara with plastic bumper.
