Dear fellow Jeepers,

step by step more Rock Jock components found their way into my suspension setup. And now it's a complete Lift, except for the front JKS control arm relocation bracket, that is still in. However, while trying to hunt down a clanking sound, that is loud but only occurs now and then, I re-torqued everything according to the Rock Jock Lift Kit manual.
They recommend 40 ft.lbs for the front upper control arms, 75 ft.lbs for all rear arms, and so forth. This seems very low to me.

Does anyone of you have experience with the Rock Jock lift?
Or does anyone of you have an opinion on the low torque values?

Thank you for your input,
Dirk

That does seem low... I would call or email and ask them if they forgot a "1" in front of those numbers.

Then again, my opinion is not grounded on anything besides having installed my lift a few months back - I don't work or know enough about this to tell you those specs are impossible.

That’s what I thought. But then, Rock Jock seems to be a company that knows what they are doing.
Unlike myself: I have no clue what to do now ?
Will probably take Bills advice and write them.

Never had any issues?
I did it the same and used factory torque first. But I have this clanking sound once in a while, so I thought I try their spec.
Occasional clanking still there, no change….

The torque specs are easier to understand using the Mopar suspension install sheet.
