So I’m running the family around and I see like 6 new JL 4XE’s in the parking lot. The plates are from all over the place, only two have NY State plates. Then I see the rental car scan decals and figure it all out. They are ALL Rentals.

One was buy itself, but had a Duck on the door handle. I’ll admit it, a Black Sahara with Black Leather seats is pretty dang nice!

But should it have been DUCKED?

Depending on how Jeep-savvy the person renting that Jeep was (or the rental agency, if it was just waiting to be rented), I bet they were thoroughly confused once they returned and found that!

They are being DUMPED, not selling so they are all but given to the Rental Agencies...nothing rare or unusual been going on for years...

I'm going to take the stance and say it is not the fault of these 4xe units that were handed their lot in life as rentals. They deserve a duck like any other Wrangler.

I have a standing rule, if I get a duck I pass the duck on but only to other 2 doors.

My daughter got a 4XE as a rental a few weeks ago. She liked it but she isn't giving up her Grand Cherokee.
