No key memory or am I doing something wrong..?

Scenario 1:
A.I hit the remote start on the key.
B. I go outside hop into the JLU.
C. While Driving I turn on the heated seated and stearing wheel.
D. I arrive at My destination.
E. I turn off the JLU lock the doors and walk away.

Scenario 2:
A. 15 minutes later, I hit the auto start on the key.
B. I return to the JLU (its already running).
C. I climb inside the JLU and the heated stearing wheel and seats are turned off and ice cold.

Shouldn't there be some sort of memory that holds my last settings for at least a few minutes? Am I just missing a setting somewhere?

There is no memory of the previous setting but there is a setting to have both automatically come on when the outside temperature is below 40 degrees.

It is in the settings accessed through the radio. It might vary exactly where based on the radio you have.

I may have found it. I don't see any reference to temperature though. Seems to be saying if I use remote start then turn on seats and stearing wheel.

Correct, you can do remote starts or all starts. The temp is in the manual. I wish it were adjustable.

All you do is turn the auto-on feature on. It's not something to adjust. If you select auto-on, it comes pre-programmed (non-adjustable) to turn the heated steering wheel and heated seat if the outside temperature at startup is below 40 degrees.
