Hi,
I recently bought a 2023 Jl Willys Sport. It came with the stock halogen lights.
Quadratec has a nice set that look like the Mopar LEDs for a cheaper price (under $700)

Please give me advice on a (not too expensive) JL Flashcal.
Also, is there any videos on how to program the Jeep from Halogen to LED headlights?

one last question: will installing the aftermarket LED lights and programming the Jeep by myself void other warranty parts ?

Thanks!
Lou

I replaced my halogens with LEDs from Lasfit. I think it was right around $50-$60. It was a very easy upgrade. Dialing the new LEDs down 2 full turns was the only thing I did. This was an LED replacement. They fit in the OEM housing. I also changed out the foggers with Lasfit LEDs.

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with programming this or warranty information. I can't imagine why LEDs would void any kind of warranty though.

Best of luck my friend, that's a beautiful Willys, enjoy!

This is what I put in my 2021 Willys. Still working good with no problems and no programing.

Get a Tazer JL Mini. You can use it for many more things over the life of the Jeep.

I just replaced mine a few days ago with these https://a.co/d/1sCD5O1 first set lasted almost 5 years and the cost was very reasonable.

I checked out the link and it says they are fog lights.
yes it does but they are not fogs, have no idea why Amazon had it listed this way but I can confirm they have high and low beams and are headlamps.

It’s been discussed herehttps://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/best-led-bulb-upgrade-for-standard-non-led-factory-headlights.140736/

That's to stay out of trouble with people buying them and getting ticketed. Technically, any bulb going into a headlight, tail light, turn indicator, is supposed to meet DOT specs for the OEM bulb. By stating that they are for fog lights, they "think" they are being cute and side stepping any requirements if the customer uses them for headlights. Kinda like beadlocks are for off-road use only. But, many thousands of off-road enthusiasts run them on the highways across the country.

Reminds me of the “automotive fluids”non-gas can that I bought, because it doesn’t meet EPA regs for gas.

Go with headlight revolution.com they will tell you all the replacement bulbs you need, way brighter than the stock Jeep LED
Not cheap but the quality is way above the replacement bulbs on amazon, they mimic the light pattern of the halogen.
I have had all mine in for two years now and they are faultless
I love the look of the halogen reflector but the SV-4 bulb from the company I mentioned is amazing
Will be cheaper than changing all the housing and complete lights

UPDATE: Please help. I'm trying to upgrade to the Mopar LED headlights (not just the LED bulbs). They sell online for aprox $1K (BAM) SKU: 82219141AA. Has anyone here done it? what other choices for the JScan (cheaper than the Tazer Mini) to reprogram the car from Halogen to LED headlights? Thanks!
