I am replacing my halogen headlights with OEM LEDs and I know it is relatively straightforward on a 2021 JL. I will be eventually getting LED fogs also. Do I need additional wiring or do they plug right in?

You'll need a Tazer or dealership visit to ensure you don't get a bunch of flickering. The Tazer JL and JL mini can set all or some of the lights to LED and your problem is solved. If you plan to do any mods, invest in one of those products or similar. So many little things you can change to make Jeep ownership better.

PS the wiring is all the same, but the brackets may not align depending on steel or plastic bumper setup. Just look for the type and see if the holes align with your existing setup, if not, there are adapters you can buy.

There are several versions, I used these:

JL Mini

and of course, you can just go aftermarket as some are plug and play.

Craig, anyaftermaket Led fog that says it fits on a sport model will fit and/or come with a harmess to make it work. You won't need to reprogram. But the headlights that I sold you , you will need to scan the code. If u go with the tazer, ensure u remove it before any dealer visits. The tazer mini is awesome and highly recommended if any future mods.

I am using jscan to reprogram for the LED's. My question was whether the wiring for the LED fog lights are different. I assume they are plug and play (with reprogramming) but I wanted to make sure before I buy them.

Why would you get flickering? I replaced my original front bumper fog lights with LEDs from Stedi and I get zero flicker.

you shouldn’t have any issues with LED fogs. I replaced my halogens with OEM LEDs when I swapped to a rubicon steel bumper and had no issues.

other lights, yes you need to reprogram. But I guess the fog light draw is so low it doesn’t matter between halogen and LED.

I replaced my halogen fog light *bulbs* with LED bulbs. No reprogramming needed. No hyperflash. Part listed in this Gladiator Forum message. Easy. No tears. Cheap. $23 Amazon purchase.

If you're going for SUPEROMGLED fog lights, spending more money advised.
