Safelite replaced my glass ($200 insurance deducible) and re-calibrated the ACC. They emailed a copy of the calibration certification. Everything went well. Only thing was a little extra wait for the Jeep OEM glass. The service tech said Wrangler glass replacement is 25% of his repairs/replacements....

Safelite can do.. this has been mentioned quite a bit on the forum. IF I remember correctly they do add a charge to do this but the charge is minimal.

Post back what the ene deal was for you ... this so others here know.

LOL Like $450!!!

Not sure if the cost for every vehicle is different but on my wife's Hinda Pilot it was around $400 for recalibration

That was a post of mine from just over 2 yrs ago. Soon after that post I learned that the calibration charge, regardless of who does was not "minimal".

Over the last couple of years I have seen say from about $200 to 400 mentioned on the internet by guys/gals that paid to have it done.

Not sure why we need a recalibration of the ACC system since, unlike most vehicles with windshield mounted systems, ours is not mounted to the windshield. I think most installers are used to them being mounted to the glass and not having folding windshields. The sensor cluster is flush with the glass but not mounted to it, so it does not get moved or reoriented during glass installation. My Jeep even came with a cover for the ACC sensors for when the windshield is folded down. (The ACC sensors stay up by the rollbar frame when the windshield is folded down)

My question is if one doesn't use ACC, can the calibration (if actually necessary) just be skipped?
