Can I get some personal recommendations for an undercarriage cam for my JLR 2-door? I have both the factory front and rear cams, so will likely need a new package including a monitor. The factory front cam is OK but I've added a custom bumper and winch so they obstruct the view. What I want is something I can mount in the front axle area to watch the front tires when rock climbing. I'm also interested in perhaps adding a dash cam and a persistent rear-facing cam to watch my trailer, so a multi-cam package with buffering would be even better.

Just saw this thread. I don't have any firsthand experience yet, but here is the camera setup I've ordered and will attempt to install very soon:

Camera system:
Stinger Universal 4-camera system - $699
This allows you to program all aspects of how you want the cameras displayed, and even supports video recording. Pretty fancy stuff.

Monitor:
Echomaster 7" AHD Monitor - $230
Echomaster is under the same parent company as Stinger, so this AHD monitor should work well with the Stinger AHD camera system.

Misc:
Hoolcar grab handle cell phone mount - $33
I plan to disassemble this and primarily just use the grab handle bracket itself.

Echomaster fan-style dash mount - $14
Plant to disassemble this and somehow connect it to the grab handle bracket.

Echomaster GXE to RCA adapter - $12
I'm not 100% sure but I think this might be required for the camera system.

I'm not sure on my camera mounting strategy yet, I think I need to wait until everything is hooked up and working and then play around with some different ideas. Probably I'll mount one on each axle with large hose clamps, have one trailcam up front pointing forward, and I'm not sure about the 4th one yet.

And here's where I am hoping to mount the monitor:

That's great information! I'd love to hear more after you've had a chance to install it.
