Harbor Freight: I have one of these and it has been great for 10+ years.
For the Wrangler I will get one of these.
Floor Jacks these go up to 29" and have a full plate on the bottom so they wont dig into the driveway. Or the dirt if you happened to have them on a trip.
Happy wrenching!
I agree with you 100% - The HarborFreight Daytona jack has proven to be a great addition to my garage. However, I would suggest that those looking for a new floor jack consider the “long reach” version which has about 4 1/2” more lift height (19 7/8” vs 24 1/4”) than the one you have linked for your Jeep. Even with the additional lift height it’s the same low profile design (3 1/4”) allows it to slip under the lowest of my vehicles.

Anyone using the Daytona 4 ton hydraulic jack?
Thinking about picking one up from Harbor Freight. Feels like I've heard the name before.

Wanting to do my own brake pad jobs and maybe oil changes.
I have a 3.5" lift and 38s.

I use HF jacks and they get the job done. Just make sure lift range of the jack is enough for your rig.

There's a 3 ton long reach low profile jack from HF (which I have). It is 1" lower but lifts 4" higher than the 4 ton. I also have the 6 ton jack stands, and would recommend those too.

Is the 3 ton enough? I was told that 4 ton should be minimum for a lifted jeep, weight wise.

Generally speaking, you will only be lifting a little more than half the weight of the vehicle if you jack up the whole front end, and a little less than half the weight if you jack up the whole back end. A good quality 3 ton jack is plenty for a Jeep.

Jeep is 5200 lbs and fairly evenly balanced front to rear. Perhaps 2700 lbs on the front axle and 2500 lbs on the rear. 3 ton jack should be good for 6600 lbs.

Make sure you get the long reach Daytona model to get the extra lift. It costs a little more than the other 3 ton model

I have 3 floorjacks. Mostly by happenstance.

First one I bought for my pickups. It's a 3 1/2 ton steel jack. pretty much standard lift height and capacity. The one in the back I bought for the Camaro I had that was very low.

The middle one I bought to carry in the pickup and it came in handy a couple times. But more recently, I modified it for use on the jeep. You can see that I bolted an aluminum "spud" on the lift arm. I can use that directly on a surface to lift or bolt a spring perch on as a saddle for an axle or frame member. Additionally, I have 2 aluminum tube spacers and an aluminum plug that accepts the spring perch as well

. The short spacer gets the most use, but I did use the long spacer this past week to lift from the rock rail.

I also have a ProEagle 1 1/2 ton mini floorjack that I strap in the jeep for outings. It has two extensions to help it work on the jeep.

The jack stands I use are 6 ton/pair PASE rated Martin Industries stands. 1/4" wall tube construction with 5/8" shear pins. No ratchet stands for me. They go from around 11" to 19" IIRC. I still need to get some of those Sunex 1310s or equivalent.
