Thinking of adding a 1.5" spacer lift to my JLU. Used a floor jack at work to swap the Sahara wheels with Rubicon take-offs. Had to put a 4" solid concrete block under the jack to get enough lift to install the new tires.
Thinking a floor jack with more height would work better and be safer than my current jack and concrete blocks. Is there a minimum height I should look for in a new jack.

My other thought was to use a forklift to pick up the whole Jeep and put it on 4 jackstands. We have fork extensions which are 8' long. Was thinking if I went from passenger to driver side the length would be long enough. Thinking of putting wood 4x4 between the frame rail and forks so the forks aren't in contact with anything on the bottom of the Jeep.
