I did the mopar 2” lift, and was wondering if the rear axle should be perpendicular to the ground , just as the front is. I installed adjustable control arms, but set them at the same length as the stock, and the angle is about 9.4 degrees negative at the rear. My front is about 0.4 negative. Both measurements being off the differential flat spot at parallel to ground. Going to shop to have it aligned, but just wanted input from the jeppers here. Thanks!!

I may not be understanding what you describe correctly, but I’m picturing it in my mind and it’s horribly wrong.

Any chance you forgot to swap one of the coils in the back or any other part from the kit?

The lift was installed correctly, the kit did not come with any upper or lower rear control arms, so it lifted on stock control arms which explains the angle, I’m just wondering what it should be, now that I have adjustable control arm, I can make oh bit whatever it needs to be.

I would add about a half inch over stock length to your lower arms and then set your pinion angle with the upper arms...With the stock driveshaft I don't think it matters as much but if you have an aftermarket check with them.

No worries, I just wish I would’ve checked the angle before I I installed the controls arms, but I’ll find out next week when I bring it the shop

Maybe this will help. The angle finder to the left of the differential is reading negative 9.4 degrees. The front axle reads 0.0 degrees, or perpendicular to the floor. My question is what are others seeing for angles on the rear? Hope this helps clarify that my Jeep is not”currently” on it’s side ??

shouldn’t it be parallel to the ground?
I have the most confusing picture in my brain right now.

Right, the angle finder should be parallel to the ground, the surface it is mated to on the axle should be perpendicular to the ground. Does that help any?

Sort of, kinda retired....mostly
I installed the Mopar 2" on my JLR, and upgraded the lower front control arms with adjustable ones. I didn't do anything with the front upper or any of the rear arms, and my Jeep drives and tracks perfectly (or at least as perfectly as a Jeep can). 28K miles and 5 BoH trails, including the Rubicon, and my alignment has been perfect since the day I installed it.

The circled surface should be perpendicular to the ground, but it is angled 9.4 degrees
Ohhhhhhh

Seems a control arm issue like you sussed it out in an earlier comment.
