Hey all, I have been trying to work this issue out for over a year (2021 JL Wrangler 80th Anniversary, 3.6L), and after my Jeep spending 10%+ of its life at the dealership, I’m consistently getting a “cannot replicate” response.
I am a naive, inexperienced and not even close to handy Canadian Jeep lover (this is my second Wrangler).
I gave up in 2021, but finally had it back in today for the same ‘rattle’, which is worse than ever.
The response was (once again) “noise not detected on test drive, rebook when condition is happening..”
I tweeted at @Jeep, @JeepCanada & @JeepCares (you may laugh at this video):
Since I am so naive, I just want someone to tell me “that noise is normal” - or “that’s not good”.

- JeepCares does not have anything to do with Canada, I pleaded with them for escalation/more help to no avail.
- I am directed to FCA Canada = Chrysler/Jeep etc, who actually “opened a case” for me in August 2021 (see Tweet for video & audio of noise) but:
- Their motto is “no diagnosis, no problem”
- Even after having my Wrangler at the dealership for 2 weeks once, and an additional week of combined days without it, the result is the same “cannot replicate, not detected” etc
- Am I wrong to think: if the tuning is the problem, there would never be a code - since it thinks everything is okay as it chugs/rattles/suffers?
- Their motto is “no diagnosis, no problem”
- Is this some kind of conspiracy? Or am I just a noob Jeep lover who’s too worried about a very normal noise?
- Someone please either give me peace of mind, or help me out here - thank you!!
