I think I know the answer to this. I am getting the "Stop Start Not Available" Alert randomly. It seems to be happening more and more. is this the battery dying after ONLY TWO YEARS?

Do yourself a favor and do a forum search. I ended up installing a permanent underhood charger and never had a problem since.

I think I am gonig to go the single H7 battery route and disconnect the little battery and pull fuse #42. It sounds like I better do it sooner rather than later as it is getting cold here

Yea, this forum has some weird obsessions. Charging your batteries all the time is dumb. Using high quality batteries is key. Most oem batteries these days are absolute trash.

I agree, but I am absolutely SHOCKED Jeep would allow a battery setup that last only 2 years! My Jeep is a garage queen, yes I off road it but it lives inside, in a climate controlled garage most of the time. I put 8,000 miles on her a year and that's it!

I will be glad to move past this dual battery fiasco.
