2019 2 door JL 112k miles 3.6liter engine. I had the starter and both batteries replaced about 14months ago.

New issue: When I get in it starts up just fine and runs just fine, I always turn off the start/stop since I'm in stop and go traffic alot. But lately I get "Start/Stop not working, Service start/stop" after I have been driving about 15mins. Once I turn it off its gone and when I start the jeep its not on there until i drive another 10-15mins.

At first i thought it was battery issue but remembered mine were replaced when starter was replaced April 2023, anyone have this issue know what may be causing it? I can live without the start/stop but I don't want it to be a sign of bigger issue, that leaves me stranded somewhere.

Are you a manual or auto transmission?

start/stop errors have been indicated as a possible early warning of the MT clutch failing.

There is a list of possible reasons start stop will not work. Check the owner manual.

Was it under warranty for the batteries and starter? The dealer replaced only the SS battery when mine went bad. That was on my 2019 when I had similar issues as you.

Back when I had an aux battery mine had to be replaced about every 16 months.

Doesn't that imply there was / is something wrong with your electrical system?
I was just told that it was an "aux battery thing." If that isn't normal maybe it was the brand of battery I was using or maybe it was because of my electric steps adding extra drain. Either way, if I ever owned one again I think I would do the bypass/delete.

"Start/Stop Not available" and "Service Start/Stop" are two different things. The manual covers the former.

Mini Cooper S, 4Dr Rubicon M/T maybe it will work someday?
I am getting the same thing occasionally (manual trans). It is always the auto start/stop and the cruise control but it does not happen reliably.

I have looked at the code and there are none.
